(FB-47) This is probably one of the most-heard album I have ever had in my life. My older brother once brought it home; he had been given the album as payment for something that was owed to him. The disc was actually warped; it must have been exposed to sun rays; it 'swam' on the turntable but it played all right. I still know most of the songs by heart. My favourite was 'Any day now', 'Playboy', 'Don't play that song (You lied)', 'Party lights', 'The wah-watusi', 'Breaking up is hard to do' and 'The locomotion'...
(FB-79) 'Top Hits by Bobby Rydell' was 'translation' of Cameo's 'All the hits' series or 'All the covers by our artists'; Rydell sings all the hits made popular by Dion, Steve Lawrance, Andy Williams, Bobby Vinton, Johnny Mathis and even... Little Peggy March.
FB-095 - ALTA ROTAÇÃO 1964 - a German compilation album of 14 hits released by German label Ariola. Fermata released such a collection maybe thinking of how successful Italian compilation albums were in Brazil in the mid 1960s. Here's the list: 1. Gaucho Mexicano - Renate und Werner Leismann; 2. Rosen haben Dornen - Carmela Corren; 3. I love you - Die Musikboxer; 4. Geh' nicht zu den Indios - Gunnar Wiklund; 5. Piccolina - Jan & Kjeld; 6. Im Tal der blauen Berge - Peter Hinnen; 7. Rosmarie - Die Musikboxer; Seiten B: 1. Siebentausend Rinder - Peter Hinnen; 2. Im kleinem Dorf am Rio Grande - Renate und Werner Leismann; 3. Pepino - Fredy Brock; 4. 1999 - Die Musikboxer; 5. Ob in Bombay, ob in Rio - Anita Traversi; 6. Schenk mir einen Talisman - Die Musikboxer; 7. Wilhelm Tell Twist - Charlie Cotton & His Twist-Makers.
Mina (FB-99) Italy's greatest sensation was poorly assessed by Fermata's Brazilian executives. Brazilians were deeply in love with Italian music in 1964 and this album contained material that was irrelevant at the time. 'E se domani' is the only good song in this hodge-podge concocted in hell.
(103) 'Um pedaço de Liverpool' released in late 1965.
'Garden party by Bobby' (FB-107), a compilation album by German label Ariola.
FB-106 - 'Made in Italy 1965' (XV Festival de San Remo) - Even though Fermata trumpets they are songs from the Festival, it actually contains only 3 songs from San Remo; the other two-thirds are made up of older hits by other artists.

FB-170 Michel Polnareff with 'Love me please love me' his greatest hit ever.
FB-173 - Chris Montez's 2nd album was very good too. He sings 'Girl from Ipanema' among others.
FB-176 - Nini Rosso had been tremendously successful since his 'Il silenzio' went to #1 world-wide in 1965. This is his 2nd album, containing Brazilian hit 'Carcara' made popular by Maria Bethania.
'As 13 da sorte' (The 13 lucky ones) (FB-179) followed the same idea as CBS's 'As 14 Mais' and Copacabana's '14 Maiorais'; Fermata subtracted one song and gambled on the name 'Luck'. Actually all songs are from the A&M catalogue with Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, Sergio Mendes, The Sandpipers, Baja Marimba Band. Chris Montez & Claudine Longet.
14 Sucessos de Milva (FB-182) - is a Milva compilation released by Cetra in 1961, Fermata was only 5 years behind.

FB-217 - Sergio Mendes could do no wrong at A&M.'Look around' was the 3rd gold album in a row with 'The look of love' having climbed hight at Billboard's Hot-100. Dori Caymmi's 'Cantador' became 'Like a lover' and it's perhaps the best track in the album.

FB-258 - legendary 1950s Cauby Peixoto is signed by Fermata. He had been lingering at RCA for a decade with nothing much to do but Italian-covers and it looked like he'd be doing the same old stuff here. He started covering 'Zingara', San Remo's 1969 winner; even Dora Lopes translated Alberto Rossi's 'Non c'è che lei' (Sem você) for her old colleague; Fabio's 'Stella' and Tom Jones's 'Delilah' (Dalila) completed the picture.
