(XRLP-6000) Italian romantic crooner Teddy Reno starts a new numbering system for RGE XRLP-6000 reserved for albums recorded by Italian Compagnia Generale di Dischi (C.G.D.), US Dot Records etc. 

(6.002) Pat Boone very 1st album recorded by Dot Records and released by RGE in Brazil.

(6008) Pat Boone's 2nd album released in Brazil: 'Howdy!' featured 'Bernardine' and 'Love letters in the sand' (first published in 1931; Boone took it to #1 at Billboard for 7 wks on 13 May 1957) both songs were in the film 'Bernardine' (released on 25 November 1957 in the USA) and played the Southern air-waves. Radio Panamericana's DJ Miguel Vaccaro Netto wrote the liner-notes.

(6013) DJ Renato Macedo writes the liner-notes and expatiates about Pat Boone's career in Hollywood. Note the Columbia University pennant by Pat's portrait was exchanged for one written RGE. Well, RGE wasn't sure what Columbia meant. They wouldn't tolerate it in case it meant Columbia Records.

(6016) Pat Boone stars in 'April love' (Primavera de amor) with Shirley Jones - released on 27 November 1957 in the USA. Boone took 'April love' to #1 at Billboard for 6 wks on 28 October 1957.
